Introduction
|
Feng Shui means "Wind and Water" and refers to
the strong forces which surround us. Feng Shui is a 3000 year old
Chinese art and science which shows us how to harmonise this energy with
that of our own body. The Chinese call this invisible energy "CHI".
Feng Shui involves all types of luck: wealth, health,
prosperity, career success, maritial happiness, good family life, luck
for dependents, help of influential people and a life of recognition
and respect. Feng Shui is not magic nor religion; it is an art and a science
which can be as exact as any mathematical science which involves
calculations and precise measurements. The Chinese call the beneficial
energy "Sheng Chi" and the poisonous and deadly energy "
Shar Chi". The Chinese also refer to Sheng Chi as the
cosmic breath of the dragon. The dragon is the strongest symbol of
strength and good luck. A house can be energised with good CHI using the eight directions
of the compass relating to the eight sides of the ancient Chinese symbol
the Pa – Kua. Each direction has its own colour and element
determined by the Pa Kua. With the exception of the
bathroom and kitchen, every room in the house can be energised using the
compass. The compass is used to determine the direction accurately since
in Feng Shui this is most important.
